Although Shashi has a lot of good characteristics,she also seldom do silly mistakes. For example,Shashi had  speak JAAZ but actually the pronunciation of jazz is jazz in front of her family. Secondly,Shashi say that can i come in when the first time she enter the English tuition class and Mr.David ,her tuition teacher correct her by saying may i come in.

    This time I would to share the character of Shashi 's husband, Shashi.He is some kind of unappreciated person.He always underrate his wife's talent such as Shatish' weakness in English.He always make fun of her wife wrongly speaking,instead her daughter always also feel ashamed to got a mother like that.As a husband,he should not do such things to his beloved wife and do correct and teach her if she is mistaken.As a result Shashi feel very offended and grieving towards her husband and her children behavior. Not only that,when Shashi 's niece Radha asked her to give a speech on her sisters weeding Shatish quickly stand up and say that his wife is weak in English.

ENGLISH VINGLISH is a story about a quiet, sweet tempered housewife endures small slights from her well-educated husband and daughter everyday because of her inability to speak and understand English.


I had been watching this owesome movie first time in language lab with my friends.My first impression about this movie,i thought it was a very boring and educational-boring movie,but then once the movie is start,all of us had a big laugh,in my mind i think this movie might be interesting actually.



The main character in this movie is Shashi Godbell.There are two characteristic that i impressed about her.Firstly,she is very determined to learn something that she was eager to know about.This can be shown during her visited on her sister in law's house at America.Although there only limited time she at America,she is very determine to learn english at this tuition center that quite far from her sister's house. She willing to take bus and go through various type of people that she does not recognize in order to fulfill her ambition to speak english well.



Next,Shashi is very patient towards the lashing about her poor english from her husband and daughter.Not only that,she is also patient to face all the challenges during she at America,for example,she had been humiliated and scoled at ine pf the cafe in America as she cannot speak well with the waitress.Since tjis incidence happen,it makes her zeal to learn English.
